How to be Volunteer in Wolong Bifengxia Base for Giant Panda and other reserves:
you'd better mail us your information (Name, Sex, Birth of Date,
Nationality, Passport number with it's copy, Intriduction about yourself
on this project, accurate date to arrival and duration days, members in
your party, Certificate of your Body Health etc), estimated flight of
arrival and departure, so that we can apply the permit for you, if okey,
then we will inform you of arrangement.
Also, this program can be arranged in
other reserves and researching house as similar as well.
Service Charge:
Service charge for the permit 50USD/p.p. by our corp.
Volunteering coordinating and assistant service Fee:
50USD/person/day charged by Wolong Nature Reserves. or 120USD per person
per day charged by Chengdu Panda Base.
Accommodation(2*):
55USD/person/day for accommodation and meals as in Panda hotel.
35USD/room/night for accommodation only in Panda hotel.
90USD/room/night for accommodation only in Wolong hotel, the best one in
Wolong.
Now in Chengdu arranged as 3* Binjiang hotel or 4 * Enjoy Star hotel.
In Bifengxia as Xiao Xitian hostel or 3* Bifengxia Grand hotel.

Volunteering Time
Working hours for volunteer depend on yourself.
Notice
All volunteers must obey the regulation of this Researching Center and
China's Law, and working directed / guided by leaders and scientist of this
Researching Center.
Other Cost
Transfer of Chengdu a'port-Wolong Researching Center, single way, cost
220USD; Gguide service, 80USD/day; Chengdu-Wolong by public bus, cost
10-26USD,
departure daily from 01Apr to 31Oct..
Hotel in Chengdu-a'port single way transfers cost: 40USD for car only,
60USD for car and guide service.
English Interpreter or English speaking guide service in Wolong,
60USD/day;
Jinhe hotel (3*) in Chengdu, 60USD/room/night with b'fast.
More professional voluntary work for profession
volunteer such as vet, medical college students and vet veterinarian
verterinary surgeon in panda animal hospital, university students
college students school students in biochemics physiology for
Physiological & Biochemical science and zoology Laboratory animal,
behavior ecology behavioral science etc.
Wolong is closed after 2008 Earthquake, so all
above voluntary work arranged in Bifengxia and Chengdu Panda Base.
