Crested Ibis (Nipponia Nippon) 

Yangxian Zhuhuan (in Chinese, Crested Ibis  or Nipponia Nippon) Nature Reserve, locates at Yaojia Valley, Jinjia River, Sancha River in Yangxian, Shaanxi, China.  This species first founded in 1981 (7 birds in the wild). The  No.1 protection station just locate at Yaojiagou valley, alt 1357m, about 60km apart from Yangxian town, you can take bus to the foot of the mountain, then walking  about 5kms to the station. And about 40kms to Sancha river station from Yaojiagou valley by walking over mountain roads, Sanchahe river area is the nesting area for Crested Ibis.　And there is a Breeding Center locates at 3KM from the north of Yangxian town, the roost-site (about 60 birds daily for night here) for the wild Nipponia Nippon just locates Caoba village close to the Breeding Center, also you can watch this wild Crested Ibis at Liuzhuang Village (15KM to north of Yangxian town).
And from Xian to Yangxian, driving about 5-6 hours, and you can take flight from Xian to Hanzhong, then about 1.5 hour drive from Hanzhong A'port to Yangxian.
