Kanas Lake, Halas Lake, Hanas Lake, Kanas National Nature Reserve, is a
magical and appealing place for all ages. It locates in Altai or
Alta Altay Altai Mountain ranges, in Borjin Burqin county, Xinjiang, it
altitude at 1374 meters, the lake with length of north-south
24km, width 1.9km, the deepest about 188.5 meters, it
covers an area of 44.78 sq km. There are about 798 species of
plants, and 199 of them are herbal plants; and also 99 species
of fungus, 25 of them are new species in Xinjiang; 160 species
of vertebrate, of them 160 kinds of birds, 7 kinds of fishes,
famous for the red fish in the lake; 300 species of insects.
There living about 1400 poplie of the Tuwa minority. The
Siberian Taiga Forest extends into the Kanas Hanas region, the only
region with arcitic Euro-Siberian wildlife in China. Many lakes
around the Kanas Hanas lake, such as Hei (black) lake, Bai (white)
lake etc.
Temperature in July about 15.9`C, and -16`C in Jan.
Some wildlife as: Panthera Unica, Martes zibellina, Gulo Gulo,
Capra ibex, Ciconia Nigra, Lepus timidus, Ursus arctos, Lutra
lutra, Felis lynx, Felis manul, Cervns elaphus, Moschus
moschiferus, Tetrastes bonasia, Accipiter gentilis, Nyctea
scandiaca, Lagopus mutus, Rana altaica, red fish etc.

Day01, Arrive Urumqi A'port, tranfer to Urumqi for night.(D)
Day02, Drive to Borjin Buerjin Burqin city for night. (D/L/D)
Day03-Day04, Drive and trek through Jiadengyu to Hemu , ready
for horse riding or trekking, overnight in Hemu village.(B/L/D)
Day05-Day06, Trekking or horse riding 25km, to Heihu lake (black lake,
another name Kanakuly lake), and there many small lakes around,
overnight in tent.(B/L/D)
Day07, Trekking or horse riding 15km to Kanas Villa nearby Kanas
Hanas
Lake, overnight in Wooden house.(B/L/D)
Day08, Full day adventure in or around Kanas Hanas Lake by boat, as well as
hiking up to Gunayuting (Fish Glimpse Pavillion) which under the
Friendship Peak, in the evening drive back to Borjin Burqin for night.(b/L/D)
Day09, Drive to Urumqi for night.(B/L/D)
Day10, See you off at a'port after b'fast.(B)
Quotation (In RMB, per person, 10days, basis of
2persons share one standard room): 19800CNY/p.p., single
supplement: 2500CNY.
