Arjinshan ( Arjun , Altun Tagh, or A-ehr-chin ) National Nature Reserve in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, China. The Arjin Shan Reserve is the best reserve for large mammals in China. Arjinshan is one of the primary ranges of Tibetan antelopes in the world and it has been threatened by livestock farming activities since the end of last century. Situated in the huge depression basin on the northern slope of the central section of the Eastern Kunlun Mountains, the reserve borders in the east the Qaidam Basin, the highest interior basin in China, and leans against the Kunlun Mountains in the south, connecting the Northern Tibet Plateau. In the north, the reserve is sheltered by the Altun Mountains.
Arjin Shan is one of China’s largest national nature reserves at 4500000 hectares lies in Qarkilik (Ruoqiang) ,  desert landscape, pretty remote area,  From E87°10 to E91°18', from N36°00' to N37°49', with populations of many rare Tibetan mammals for you to do scientific research survey and wildlife photography trip, including eleven species of ungulates. Wild yak (Bos grunniens) persists here as does Asiatic wild ass (Equus hemionus). Other species include Tibetan wild ass (Equus hemionus kiang), Tibetan antelope (Pantholops hodgsoni), Tibetan argali sheep(Ovis ammon hodgsoni), Blue sheep (Pseudois nayaur), Tibetan gazelle (Procapra picticaudata), Goitered gazelle (Gazella subgutturosa), Snow leopard (Panthera uncia), Wolf (Canis lupis), wild bactrian camels etc. To take below photography wildlife trip, you can watch see most of above wild anmilas.

Information and Introduction to A-erh-chin Altun Aljin Arjin Shan mountain nature reserve

Day01, Arrive Beijing, take taxi by yourself to overnight in 4* Redwall hotel or Qianmen hotel.
Day02, Take taxi by yourself to Beijing Int'l A'port for  flight to Urumqi (the capital of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region) for night in Tianshan hotel or similar. (B/D)
Day03, Drive 480KM to Korla, hotel for night.(B/L/D)
Day04, Drive to Ruoqiang town, glimpse of Taklimakan desert, local hostel for night.(B/L/D)
Fay05, Drive about 150KM remote road to Yitengbulaky Town for night, and on the road you'd be required to show your permit..(B/L/D)
Day06, Drive into Arjinshan Nature Reserve, where no driving road for us to drive about 400KM, from Yitengbulaky town to Yaziquan (Duck spring), to Atartyhan, to Atatakanhe, to Xindaban, then arrive Keqike Lake, and camp for night beside the Keqike lake (where lies at Qimantarge village area, 3850M), today maybe the Wild animals will into your sight.(B/L/D)
Day07, Today driving about 180km in desert and Gebi, from Shaziquan (Sands Spring) and hiking to visit birds and wild animals beside the Shaziquan area, then to Kardun Grassland for night (Camp), every year after Aug many chirus back (from Kekexili, after their birth) to Kardun grassland for winter.(B/L/D)
Day08, Full day photography around in Kardun Grassland, camp for night.(B/L/D)
Day09, Driving about 200km in desert and gebi to Yixikepoty Nature Reserve Station for night in camp.(B/L/D)
Day10, Full day photographing wild animals (wild yaks and chiru), the wild animals usually hike up in the morning to the lakes area, and back at about 18:30, camp for night.(B/L/D)
Day11, Drive to Ayakekumu lake, then to Heixiongshan (black bear mountain), then to Jinkuanglukou, and camp for night, photography wildlife wild animals on the road and beside the lake (4250M), black-necked cranes if luck.(B/L/D)
Day12, Drive to Aqikekula Lake, 140KM, camp for night.(B/L/D)
Day13, Drive 220KM to Jinyu Lake (Blue Whale Lake), lot of wild anmilas for you to photograph on the road, camp for night.(B/L/D)
Day14, Drive back to Aqikekula Lake, and then to Erdaohe area, about 240KM driving today, camp for night.
Day15, Drive 440KM, 1st to Tongkuang, then to Yushupuahleky, then to Huatugou, then to Milan town for night in hostel.(B/L/D)
Day16, Drive 540KM to Ruoqiang, then to Korla for night in hotel.(B/L/D)
Day17, Drive to 480KM to Urumqi for night.(B/L/D)
Day18-Day19, Free day by yourself in Urumqi, for stand-by in case driving delay.(B)
Day20, Drive to A'port for flight back to  Beijing, and another your international flight for your home.(b)
