Tea is made from the tea leaves (tea shoot) of the Camellia Sinensis plant, it is native to China. In the 6th century, tea was introduced to Japan and later in 16th century to Europe by a Portuguese missionary, then tea became an international healthy drink, and tea culture became an international drinking art. Now the tea family consists of traditional tea, and also tea food, tea medicine and other tea products, as well as some other plants drinking.
In this trip, we will visit tea company, tea plantations, tem museum, wild & old tea trees (280hectares and 2700 years old), tea mountain and the procedure to make tea, to understand the tea history, tea culture, tea art. How to know the tea quality and grade by its appearance, smell and taste by oral sense with its color flavor, size and taste.

Day01, Beijing-Shanghai by flight, and transfer to downtown for night.(D)
Day02, Sightseeing (visit the Bund, Yuyuan, Jade Buddha Temple) in Shanghai, and then drive to Hangzhou for night in Hangzhou.(B/L/D)
Day03, Visit Tea Factory, pick tea, frying tea process in the morning, and in the afternoon visit tea researching house or China Tea Science Society in Hangzhou, overnight in Hangzhou.(B/L/D)
Day04, Sightseeing Hangzhou or visit China Tea Museum, then drive to Shanghai a'port for flight to Wuyishan, overnight in Wuyishan.(B/L/D)
Day05, Visit local tea research house and tea company, as well as the tea plantation, overnight in Wuyishan.(B/L/D)
Day06, Sightseeing in Jiuqu area (Jiuqu Stream) by bamboo raft in the morning, and in the afternoon visit Wuyishan Natural Museum, overnight Wuyishan.(B/L/D)
Day07, Drive and hike up to Huanggangshan top to explore the wild life and plants in vertical zonation, and visit the teagraduate school and learn rock tea plantation, overnight in Wuyishan.(B/L/D)
Day08, Drive to a'port for flight to Shanghai (or Fuzhou), then flight to Kunming, overnight in Kunming.(B/L/D)
Day09, Take flight to Jinghong (Xishuangbanna), visit Yunnan Provincial Tea Research House and Yunnan Tea Corp., overnight in Jinghong.(B/L/D)
Day10, Visit Menghai tea plants and old Puerh tea tree, as well as the local process of puerh tea production, overnight in Jinghong.(B/L/D)
Day11, Drive to Simao Zhenyuan for night, visit Simao Tea Museum.(B/L/D)
Day12, Drive to Jiujia township in Zhenyuan county Simao, to visit the Ailaoshan Old Wild Tea Tree Kingdom, this kingdom covers 280 hectares, and one of the tea trees is about 2700 years old, 25.6m in height, overnight in Zhenyuan.
Day13, Drive back to Kunming for flight to Chengdu for night, visit Chengdu Panda Base if time enough.(B/L/D)
Day14, Drive to Emeishan to visit Emeishan Tea factory, and research house, sightseeing Leshan Buddha, overnight in Emsishan.(B/L/D)
Day13, Drive to Mengdingshan to visit Tea ground and learn the tea processing, visit the Tea World Culture Museum, overnight in Mengdingshan.(B/L/D)
Day14, Drive back to Chengdu for flight to Beijing.(B/L)

Quotation (In EUR, per person, 14days, basis of 2persons share one standard room): 4580EUR/p.p.,  single supplement: 680EUR.
Minimum 2 persons.
If 6 persons or more in your party then please e-mail us for discount; If one person alone arranged then double the cost.
Included: meals, transportation and transfers, (4* or 3* hotel if available)accommodation in marked hotel or similar, entry fee for sightseeing, English speaking guide service and/or  local tea expert escorting,  permit to Wuyishan and Zhenyuan, all air tickets marked (economic cabin) with its a'port construction fee and fuel surcharge, tour body insurance.
Excluded: tip to guide and driver and expert, int'l air tickets,  any other service not included above.
Note: we can arrange local sightseeing and other site (such as Huangshan, West Lake, Dali Lijian, Shangri-la etc), Tibet into this tour, if you needs.
And also if necessary, we can arrange this trip to anothe 3 major tea privinces: Anhua and Jiangxi, Hunan.
