In China, Chinese medicines total about 12,807 kinds of crude drugs or crude medicines, and 11,146 of them are medicinal plants, accounting for 87 percent; 1,581 kinds of them are medicinal animals, accounting for 12 percent; 80 kinds of them are mineral medicines, and less than 1%. Sichuan is the richest province with more than 5,000 kinds of crude drugs. As to the national nature reserve, the 3 of richest reserves of midicinal plants as: Guizhou Fanjingshan (2000 kinds of herbal medicines), Shennongjia (1891 okinds of herbal medicines), Emeishan (1655 kinds of crude medicinal plants).
In the trip, we will arrange you to study and research the medicinal botany, or botanical study, or Chinese herbal medicine in China national nature reserve such as Fanjingshan in Guizhou, Shennongjia in Hubei, Emeishan in Sichuan province. And this tour will be arranged with local herbal medicine ranger (rhizotomist ) with group members, as well as local experts if necessary.

Day01, Arrive Shennongjia Nature Reserve, then transfers to Muyu for night in local hostel. (D)
Day02-Day04, Drive and hike up & down in Dalongtan area, Shennongding area for medicinal plants, overnight in Shennongjia hostel.(B/L/D)
Day05, Visit the Scientific Research House and interview with scientists, visit Shennongjia Museum, overnight in Muyu area.(B/L/D)
Day06, Drive to Xiangfan or Wuhan for flight or train to Chengdu for night in Chengdu. (B/L/D)
