In China, Chinese medicines total about 12,807 kinds of crude drugs or crude medicines, and 11,146 of them are medicinal plants, accounting for 87 percent; 1,581 kinds of them are medicinal animals, accounting for 12 percent; 80 kinds of them are mineral medicines, and less than 1%. Sichuan is the richest province with more than 5,000 kinds of crude drugs. In China about 250 kinds of cultivated crude drugs are planted with large quantity.
In the trip, we will arrange you to study and research the medicinal gardens, or botanical gardens with medicinal plants, or Chinese herbal medicine in serveral typical herbal cultivated gardens. And this tour will be arranged with local experts for interview.

Day01, Arrive Chengdu, overnight in Chengdu downtown.(D)
Day02, Drive to Sichuan Medicinal Botanical Garden (Jinfoshan, Nanchuan county), which founded in 1947, the first specices medicinal botanical garden in China, with an area of 9.5 hectares, with 12 small garden, covers more than 2300 kinds of medicinal plants, and more than 5000 kinds of species, and 150000 specimens.(B/L/D)
Day03-Day04, Full day study medicinal botanical drugs in Sichuan Medicinal Botanical Garden, overnight in hostel.(B/L/D)
Day05, Drive to Sichuan West China Subalpine Botanical Garden, which covers 70 hectares, altitude 1400-3200 metres, with total more than 20000 specimens, special famous for its Azalea, overnight in hostel.(B/L/D)
Day06-Day07, Full day study in Sichuan West China Subalpine Botanical Garden.(B/L/D)
Day08, Drive back to Chengdu a'port for flight to Xishuangbannan, and overnight in Xishuangban.(B/L/D)
Day09, Drive to visit Xishuangbanna Tropical Medicinal Garden, which cultivated more than 50 kinds of medicinal plants in Yunnan area, covers an area of 24 hectares.(B/L/D)
Day10, In the morning visit Xishuangbanna Tropical Medicinal Garden again, and in the afternoon take flight to Nanning for night.(B/L/D)
Day11-Day12, visit Guangxi Botanical Garden of Medicinal Plants, which covers an area of 220 hectares, founded in 1959, cultivated more than 4000 kinds of medicinal plants, and 12000 specimens.(B/L/D)
Day13, Drive to A'port for flight to Guangzhou, overnight in Guangzhou.(B/L/D)
Day14-Day15, Visit Guangdong South China Botanical Garden, which founded in 1956, covers an area of 300 hectares, with 1000000 specimens.(B/L/D)
