Every year from late Dec to earlier Apr,
temperature about -30° F, Harbin Ice and Snow Festival will be held in
Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, China. In this festival, you can enjoy
the giant ice sculptures, artistic carved ice creations, including
colored ice paintings, colored lanterns in city square and along river. And Harbin City is ice and snow sea of ice creations.
In Mudanjiang, the Hengdaohezi Siberian Tiger Park is the 1st cradle for Siberian Tiger (the Northeast China tiger)
to be cultivated and raised, the largest breeding center for Siberian tigers in
China, established in 1986. These rare animals are most active during the cold season, playing all day long in the snow. Siberian tigers, the largest of all tigers, live mainly in Siberia and northeastern China.
It is believed there are only 300 Siberian tigers left in the wild, less than 20 in China.
Hengdaohezi breeded more than 600 siberian tigers, and right now housed
more than 200 tigers, and 10 of them released to the wild. And as
tourist visitors to the park are encouraged to buy rabbits, goats, pigs,
chickens and oxen to feed the hungry tigers. You can also watch them
fight as they devour the food.
Day01, Beijing - Harbin by flight, pick you up at Harbin
A'port, and tranfer to 4* Plaza Us (Huayi) hotel, and in the evening
drive to Ice & Snow World to enjoy the Carved Ice Lanterns with creations in colorful
lights, shoot photograph the iced glittering and translucent creatures,
camera the beautifully wrought world (today no service in Beijing).(D)
Day02, In the morning visit Harbin Siberian Tigers Park by park bus
(ticket), then drive to Harbin Train Station for
train to (3 hours riding) to Mudangjiang, at Mudangjiang pick you up and
tranfer to ouvernight in 4* Jinding Int'l hotel for night.(B/L/D)
Day03, Full day take the park bus (chartered the park mini-bus or jeep
car so that you can shoot the siberian tigers slowly per your preference)
for photographing siberian tigers in the Hengdaohezi Siberian Tigers
Park, overnight in Jinding hotel.(B/L/D)
Day04, Full day take the park bus (chartered the park mini-bus or jeep
car so that you can shoot the siberian tigers slowly per your preference)
for photographing siberian tigers in the Hengdaohezi Siberian Tigers
Park, and in the late afternoon drive to Mudanjiang A'port for flight
back to Beijing, service ends, no service in Beijing.(B/L/D)
