Day02, Lhasa City sightseeing, Visit Potola Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Streets and Lhasa old Town (B) – Walking tour is arranged today.
Today is your first day of sightseeing on the high plateau, so we have purposely arranged only to visit Jokhang temple and Potala Palace. Potala Palace is the worldwide known cardinal landmark of Tibet. The massive structure itself contains a small world within it. Mostly it is renowned as residence of the Dalai Lama lineages (Avalokiteshvara). Jokhang temple is the most scared shrine in Tibet which was built in 7th century and located at the heart of old town in Lhasa, the circuit around it called Barkhor street, which is a good place to purchase souvenirs. Both of them are the focal points of pilgrims from entire Tibetan world, multitudinous pilgrims are circumambulating and prostrating in their strong faith. Afterwards stroll on the narrow streets of Lhasa old town to meet locals people and visit their markets. Overnight at Lhasa

Day03, Lhasa City sightseeing, visit Ganden and Sera monasteries(B)
Morning you will make a excursion trip to Ganden Monastery(about 70km drive from Lhasa), which ranks the first among the six largest monasteries of Gelugpa. In addition to its magnificent architecture and religious importance, there is a extremely fabulous view on top of the Ganden Wangpo Hill, and Kichu valley is behind Ganden monastery, it is strongly suggested to hiking around the monastery and take a bird's-eye view of the valley. Early afternoon drive back to Lhasa to visit Sera monastery for its famous monks debating between 3pm to 5pm(not available on Sunday). Overnight at Lhasa.

Day04,  Lhasa / Namtso Lake [4730m] / Lhasa, 500km, 8 hours drive (B).
Today make a day tour to Namtso Lake. Driving along Northern Tibetan grassland, distance view of the Nyenchen Thanglha snow mountain ranges, and pass the Nargen-la pass[5190m]. Namtso Lake is one of the three most holy lakes in Tibet, also the highest salt lake. You can do a bit trekking at the lakeside. Afternoon drive back to Lhasa, en route stop and pay a visit to one of nomad families. Overnight at Lhasa.

Day05, Lhasa airport / train station dropping off (B).
Morning Lhasa airport or train station dropping off, the time come to say your farewells to your guide and driver, end the trip.

Optional attractions that are not specified in the itinerary ( such as the entrance tickets to the Norbulingka Summer Palace and Tibet museum in Lhasa city if you want to visit)
Flight or train tickets in and out of Lhasa.
Lhasa train station transfer and the private airport transfer at your request.
Tips for the guide and driver(General Standard: normally 50-80RMB/day for the guide, 30-50RMB/day for the driver).
Extra expenses and/of additional days caused due to unexpected events (delays, porterage because of land slides and other natural events), or even by yourself to plan arrive 1-2 days before the start of the tour group as well as leave 1-2 days later after end of group. (that means, you can arrive at Lhasa 1-2 days eailer before group, and you can leave Lhasa 1-2 days later after group, but cost extra, and free days in Lhasa only).
